in the Metro Church building at 2001 25th St., Kenner, LA.
Under the Governor’s direction for public meetings, churches are allowed to meet as long as the social distancing guidelines are followed and precautions are taken.
We plan to have worship with our musicians followed by preaching of the word. We will need to observe the following instructions to be able to meet.
The church will not serve drinks but you can bring your own.
You will need to wear a facemask while at the meeting. (You may bring your own sanitizer if you wish).
Ushers will seat members of the same family together and every group or individual will be seated at least six feet apart.
No hugging, handshaking or kissing please.
Two bathrooms will be available on the first floor.
If you are not feeling well, display any kind of symptoms, have preexisting medical health issues or do not feel you are ready to meet in public yet, I strongly encourage you to stay home and listen to the churches Facebook live stream. There is absolutely no pressure for you to attend.
We are coordinating with state and local leaders to stay informed and to act accordingly.
We have taken extra effort to clean and sanitize the building.
We are sanitizing all common areas including door handles and bathrooms with hospital grade disinfectant.
We are committed to making adjustments and remaining flexible as the situation requires.
We are focused on making wise decisions and being proactive without being driven by panic or fear.
While I know that this seems inconvenient (especially if you are not sick or feel sick) I ask that you follow these guidelines in consideration of your brothers and sisters.
You may have questions beyond what is addressed in this email so feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 504-467-1707.
Pastor Kathy and I are very excited to see your faces and celebrate worship face-to-face again.
